1. Introduction
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to purchases made on StreamJams ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our services and making purchases, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
2. Coin Purchases
StreamJams operates on a virtual currency system called "coins" that can be purchased with real money and used to request songs and support streamers.
2.1 General Policy
All purchases of coins are generally final and non-refundable once the transaction is complete. This is because coins are digital goods that are delivered immediately upon purchase and can be used immediately within our platform.
2.2 Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Unauthorized purchases: If you believe that an unauthorized purchase was made using your account, please contact us immediately.
- Technical errors: If a technical error occurred during the purchase process that resulted in you not receiving the coins you purchased, or being charged multiple times for the same purchase.
- Service unavailability: If you were unable to use the coins you purchased due to extended service unavailability (more than 48 hours) immediately following your purchase.
2.3 Refund Requests
To request a refund, please contact our support team at [email protected] within 14 days of the purchase. Please include the following information in your request:
- Your username or email address associated with your StreamJams account
- Date of purchase
- Amount of coins purchased
- Transaction ID or receipt number (if available)
- Reason for requesting a refund
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
2.4 Review Process
We will review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We may request additional information to verify your identity and investigate the circumstances of your request. We will make every effort to respond to your request within 5 business days.
2.5 Approved Refunds
If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase. Depending on your payment provider, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
When a refund is issued, the corresponding coins will be removed from your account. If you have already spent some or all of the coins, we may only issue a partial refund for the remaining unused coins, or we may deny the refund request.
3. Premium Membership
StreamJams offers premium membership subscriptions that provide additional benefits to users.
3.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your premium membership at any time. To cancel, go to your account settings and select "Manage Subscription." Once cancelled, your premium membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.
3.2 Refunds for Premium Membership
We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.
However, if you are a new subscriber and cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase, you may be eligible for a refund. Please contact our support team to request a refund in this case.
4. Streamer Earnings
Streamers on our platform earn coins from song requests made by viewers. Once these coins have been distributed to a streamer's account, they cannot be refunded to the viewers who spent them, even if the viewer receives a refund for their coin purchase.
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider (such as a credit card chargeback) instead of contacting us directly for a refund, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and take appropriate legal action.
Fraudulent chargeback requests may result in the permanent banning of your account and may be reported to relevant authorities.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the changes becoming effective. Your continued use of our services after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified policy.
